With training and qualifications in both Ballet and Pilates, Rachel uses this knowledge to create exercises inspired by Ballet, Jazz and Pilates. After a Pilates based warm up, the class mostly incorporates a ballet barre or chair, using classic dance moves such as plies, alongside strength training. Barre Fitness also focuses on high repetitions of small range movements. For example: an exercise will consist of holding your body, engaging your core, while contracting specific muscles, until you shake and feel the burn! The class uses fun, energetic music to maintain motivation.
